By-Laws, Regulations and Policies

 

The College developed these By-Laws, Regulations and Policies to inform licensees and the public about the principles the Registrar uses to make judgments and choices about enforcing

  • The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants Act (Canada), and
  • The College’s Regulations.

On November 17, 2021 the Council Board of Directors approved amendments to a number of By-Laws, Regulations and Policies. The By-Laws, Regulations and Policies below remain in effect and apply to all College licensees (RCICs and RISIAs). Any references to the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (Council/ICCRC), and associated terminology, are to be read as references to the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (College) and its associated terminology.

Document Category

Licensees are reminded that compliance is required with both the Retainer Agreement Regulation and the Code of Professional Conduct. Where there are inconsistencies, the Code takes precedence over the Regulation.
