Beata Pawlowska, PhD is a seasoned leader and an expert in organizational development, program development, adult learning and competency-based education with 15 years of progressive leadership and professional development experience in complex organizations.
Her commitment to social responsibility, excellence in education and professional development is paired with her passion to help others reach their full potential and desire to create exceptional working, teaching and learning environments. She is a recognized forward-thinking innovator and change agent with the ability to anticipate and appreciate future trends.
Her practical experience in the planning, development and implementation of programs, policies and services in post-secondary institutions is coupled with a Doctoral degree in Organization Psychology, and a Master of Arts degree in Business and Education. Her research and applied work on adult learning, innovative pedagogical approaches, and leadership development have been published and presented at refereed national and international conferences.
Dr. Pawlowska held posts as an Adjunct Professor (Docent) at Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) and as an associate researcher and educator at the LMU Center for Leadership and People Management in Munich, Germany. Subsequently, she joined the University Health Network in Toronto where she partnered with academic and healthcare leaders to ensure the highest quality of patient care and safety through excellence in design research, education and simulation.
Prior to joining the College, she held the position of Director of Projects, Programs and Partnerships at St. Michael’s Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
