The College’s Board of Directors supervises the management of the activities and affairs of the College, pursuant to the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants Act (the College Act). Meetings of the Board of Directors are open to the public.
Pursuant to the College Act, the College is governed by a
transitional Board of 9 Directors: 5 non-licensees appointed by the
Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, and 4 College
licensees. The licensee Directors comprise the Chair and Vice-Chair, and
2 other Directors from the Board of Directors of the Immigration
Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council as it existed immediately
before the continuance of that Council as the College under the College
Act.
