• Parvinder Sandhu and Devinder Sandhu of Global Strategic Business Consultancy and Worldwide Immigration Consultancy Services Canada Inc. in Brampton, Ontario, had their licences revoked following findings of professional misconduct by the Discipline Committee. The committee found the RCICs did not meet their obligation to communicate with clients and misled them by assigning immigration consulting services to unlicensed employees who improperly assessed clients. The RCICs were fined $10,000, owe restitution payable to clients totalling $22,057, and were ordered to pay costs to the College in the amount of $152,800.
• Rabah Abaidi of IRIC Inc., in Montréal, Quebec, appealed a Registrar’s decision to revoke their licence for failure to pay annual fees to the Registrar Appeal Committee. The committee found that the Registrar followed the proper administrative process and there was no error. The Registrar’s decision was upheld, and the appeal was dismissed. Costs in the amount of $ 8,286.67 were awarded to the College.
• Mamoun Ahmed of Canviz Immigration in Montréal, Quebec, appealed a Registrar’s decision to revoke their licence for failure to pay annual fees, fines and penalties to the Registrar Appeal Committee. The committee found that the Registrar followed the proper administrative process and there was no error. The Registrar’s decision was upheld, and the appeal was dismissed. Costs in the amount of $3,360 were awarded to the College.
