The upcoming session of the New-Licensee Mentoring Program is scheduled to run from March 31 to August 22, 2025.
The College’s New-Licensee Mentoring Program supports Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) in the development of the knowledge, skills, values, ethics and attitudes required to practise with professional competence.
Registration for the upcoming session will begin on January 7, 2025 and is mandatory for:
• RCICs who received their Letter of Authority between July 1 and September 30, 2022, did not complete or failed their first attempt.
• RCICs who received their Letter of Authority between October 1 and November 30, 2022, did not complete or failed their first attempt.
• RCICs who received their Letter of Authority between December 1, 2022 and February 9, 2023.
RCICs required to take the program will receive an email with registration instructions, and are advised to complete the online registration form by 5:00 pm ET on February 24, 2025, and pay the applicable fees by 11:59 pm ET on March 3, 2025.
Failure to register and complete the program may result in the suspension or revocation of licence. For further details, please review the New-Licensee Mentoring Program Policy.
The College extends its appreciation to all the experienced licensees who have applied to support the upcoming session as mentors. Mentors play a vital role in the program by guiding new licensees through hands-on practice and contributing to raising standards across the profession.
