The College invites eligible licensees to be mentors for the 2024 New-Licensee Mentoring Program.
Mentors play a critical role in the program, providing guidance as licensees learn through hands-on-practice. This process facilitates knowledge transfer from experienced mentors to RCICs just starting their career. In doing so, the College is fostering high standards of practice and building competency development across the profession.
Mentors will benefit from enhanced leadership skills, contribute to raising the standards of practice across the profession, earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and earn a stipend of $1,000.
The College encourages eligible licensees to complete the mentor application received via email by 5 PM ET on Monday, June 3, 2024.
Be sure to follow the College’s social media channels as we spotlight licensees who have served as mentors, sharing their unique experiences.
In the coming weeks, RCICs required to join the program as mentees will receive an email with registration instructions. Failure to complete the program after 2 attempts may lead to licence suspension.
