How will this role support our team?
The Coordinator, Professional Compliance is responsible for the timely processing of licensees’ status change applications (e.g., leave of absence, resignation, suspension, revocation, annual renewal, etc.). The Coordinator will also sort, respond to, and/or forward incoming emails and calls as appropriate.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)
- Receive and process documentation and respond to inquiries relating to status changes (e.g., leave of absence, resignation, suspension, revocation, annual renewal, etc.).
- Monitor and ensure licensee compliance and assist to generate lists of final notices, suspension notices and revocation notices.
- Resolve escalated issues from licensees regarding the College’s regulations, By-laws and policies.
- Draft standard and non-standard correspondence to licensees and follow-up to confirm appropriate action has been taken.
- Explain and apply Registration-related regulations, policies, procedures and processes to licensees.
- Advise the supervisor of patterns in inquiries and other relevant trends.
- Collaborate with the supervisor to develop and maintain templates and processes.
This role will support our team by providing:
- Ability to acquire knowledge of the College Act, regulations and By-laws
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to collect and analyze data to shape recommendations for improved initiatives as well as to develop mitigations and/or solutions for potential issues occurring in day-to-day operations
- Time management and prioritization skills to coordinate schedules and resources for the timely processing of a high volume of licensee-related documentation and requests
- Interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills to demonstrate empathy and engage in active listening when resolving escalated issues from stakeholders or the team
- Written and verbal communication skills to respond to inquiries and address escalated issues
Required Education and Experience
- College Diploma in business administration or equivalent education and work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in business administration, preferably in a regulatory environment
