Marc Spector is a seasoned board member, deputy registrar, and lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience leading regulatory agencies in the health, education, finance, and housing sectors.
Mr. Spector has been internationally recognized as an expert in regulating professionals and was elected by 650 regulators around the world as President of the Council of Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation (CLEAR) – the leading association for regulatory learning.
Over the years, Mr. Spector has written extensively about regulation and is a frequent speaker at regulatory conferences across North America. His writing and speaking engagements often focus on what it takes to be a modern, innovative regulator today.
He was appointed to the transitional Board of the College by the Minister in March 2026.
