The College sets and enforces the licensing, education and ethical standards of the profession in the public interest.

How will this role support our team?

The incumbent provides administrative, event coordination and project support to the Director. The incumbent also provides administrative support to the department’s management team.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)

 

  • Provide meeting support to the Director and department’s management team (e.g., schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, follow-up on action items, circulate materials, maintain the filing system, etc.).
  • Track action items from meetings to ensure timely management team collaboration, and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Draft and distribute a variety of written communication materials and documents, including email, internal and external correspondence, forms, purchase orders, reports, and presentations.
  • Track the select correspondence received by the Director is responded to within required deadlines.
  • Draft and send responses to inquiries sent to the Director from external stakeholders on a case-by-case basis.
This role will support our team by providing

 

  • Time management and prioritization skills to prioritize conflicting demands and commitments
  • Organizational stills to independently plan and organize daily activities
Required Education and Experience

 

  • College diploma
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as an administrative assistant
