The 2026 Session of the New-Licensee Mentoring Program Begins

The 2026 session of the New-Licensee Mentoring Program is officially underway and will run until September 20, 2026.

This mandatory program is required of all Class L1 Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) and Class L3 RCIC-IRBs licensed after July 1, 2022, to meet the conditions of their licence. The program supports RCICs with the knowledge, skills, values and ethics required to practise with professional competence.

The College thanks the experienced licensees who support the program as mentors. Mentors play a critical role in the program by guiding new licensees through hands-on practice and contributing to raising standards across the profession.

For questions on the Mentoring Program, please visit the College website, refer to the New-Licensee Mentoring Program Policy, or contact mentoring-mentorat@college-ic.ca.
