How will this role support our team?
The incumbent provides administrative and project-related support for the Department (e.g., coordinate correspondence, schedule meetings, draft meeting agendas, transcribe interview data, communicate with project participants/SMEs on project-related issues, etc.).
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)
- Provide operations support to Departmental and organizational research projects.
- Conduct environmental scans and literature reviews.
- Review and summarize research-related data (e.g., export data from survey tools, clean data, summarize questionnaires) and assist in the interpretation of results to identify how the findings can inform decision making and be used to improve work, processes and programs.
- Contribute to the production of research reports and findings including visualisations and presentations to communicate findings to the Board of Directors or Leadership Team (LT).
This role will support our team by providing:
- Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to perform research.
- Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple requests and projects.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced changing environment as a collaborative team player who demonstrates initiative.
Required Education and Experience
- University Degree (Master’s), in social sciences/humanities (e.g., migration studies, international development, sociology).
- 1 to 3 years of experience working in research performing administrative duties.
